Royal Caribbean built Utopia of the Seas for short getaways. The sixth Oasis Class ship sails year-round 3- and 4-night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral, so you can trade a long weekend for a giant ship, a Nassau day and a beach day at Perfect Day at CocoCay.

On board, eight neighborhoods pack in everything from the 10-story Ultimate Abyss dry slide to Central Park’s real gardens, the AquaTheater and Royal Railway – Utopia Station, a dining experience set inside a moving train car.

It debuted in July 2024 and is the first Oasis Class ship powered by liquefied natural gas.

  • Royal Railway – Utopia Station costs extra and fills up. Reserve it in the Royal Caribbean app before you sail.
  • Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in Nassau isn’t included; it requires a day pass (open bar or non-alcoholic).
  • Every show is included, but reserve seats in the app or at the box office.
  • Beverage and Wi-Fi packages bought for the cruise also work at Perfect Day at CocoCay.
  • Port parking garages open for embarkation no earlier than 10 a.m.; arrive at the boarding time Royal Caribbean assigns.
  • The Solarium is strictly 18+. Families with younger kids head to the main pools and Splashaway Bay.

How long are Utopia cruises, and where do they go?+

Three-night cruises leave Fridays for Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay. Four-night cruises leave Mondays with a sea day, then Nassau and CocoCay.

Does every sailing visit Perfect Day at CocoCay?+

Nearly all of them. A few one-off dates skip it (for example a May 3, 2027 sailing), so check your specific date.

Which Port Canaveral terminal does Utopia use?+

Cruise Terminal 1 (9050 Discovery Rd.). Confirm on your boarding documents.

Is there a Broadway musical on Utopia?+

No. Utopia features original productions, AquaTheater shows and an ice show, all included in your fare.

What ages is the kids’ club for?+

Adventure Ocean offers complimentary supervised activities for ages 3–11, and teens have their own space.
